Dhruv Kumar is an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, leading PhantomGrad. His research spans large language models, AI for education, mechanistic interpretability, reinforcement learning, and distributed systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and has previously worked at Microsoft Research and Google Cloud. He has received multiple Best Paper Awards and Teaching Excellence Awards.
